Grazie", in three movements intended as
a companion for Vivaldi's D major concerto and of a
similar level of difficulty, written for Alison Bendy
. (Published ESG Autumn 1997) This is also available
as a concerto for solo guitar and guitar orchestra.
Three
new orchestral works -Inner
Hope, a rhapsody for Cello and Full orchestra; Ex
Cathedra (ad silvam)for Brass Quintet and
String orchestra (this piece was played at the Royal
Festival Hall by Exeter Youth Orchestra in July 1998,
and got them through to the final round of the Youth
and Music Festival, which probably means it will get
performed in the Albert Hall!), and the Concerto
for Guitar and String orchestra (Heart
of the Rose) written for John Holmquist in December.1997
New
Choral works include Rorate
Caeli and Ave
Maria, both graduals for Christmas.1999
